Tossing Pebbles in the Stream

This blog is my place to sit and toss pebbles into the stream. The stream of Life relentlessly passing before us. We can affect it little. For the most part I just watch it passing and follow the flow. Occasionally, I need to comment on its passing, tossing a pebble at it to enjoy the ripple affect upon Life's surface.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver 1921-2009

Her contribution to America, the World and Humanity is the greatest of all the members of the remarkable Kennedy family. The Special Olympics and the lives of the Special Olympians will be a living tribute to her for years to come.

Take a moment and visit the tribute web site to her. http://www.eunicekennedyshriver.org/

It was so refreshing to hear the accolades heaped on Eunice Kennedy Shriver--saying, that even though she never held public office, she changed the world.
High praise indeed, and well-deserved.

You are so right, Philip. It is amazing what one dedicted person can do. I have two friends who have children that have benefited from the Special Olympics. A wonderful organization.
