Tossing Pebbles in the Stream

This blog is my place to sit and toss pebbles into the stream. The stream of Life relentlessly passing before us. We can affect it little. For the most part I just watch it passing and follow the flow. Occasionally, I need to comment on its passing, tossing a pebble at it to enjoy the ripple affect upon Life's surface.

New Beginnings, Day One

May your tobaggan ride of Life this year be straight and true,

avoiding the trees and rocks along the run,

with the wind of excitement bringing thrill and chill to you,

with only the occasional bump.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too.
Yes, it will be a new adventure, that's for sure, and I pray it will be good news for the world as a whole.

Happy New Year my friend....

I had to pop by today and tell you that the UK is in the grip of a new Ice Age... well you would think so to here our local news... parts of the UK dropped to -10 last night and the warnings made me laugh.... in most place it only dropped to around -5...
Concidering your weather..... you'd call ours 'Tee-Shirt' time Philip.. ;O)

Checking in--and wondering, like Amelia above, if you are OK.
This is a long time for you to go without a bit of news.
Hope you have power in the wilds of Ontario, and are not too snowed in.

Hi Philip, I hope things are ok with you. Drop a quick message on the blog or do a quick update when you get the chance. Are you snowed up? I bet the snow is easy for Heidi to get through with her long legs! :o)

You've been awfully quiet, Phil. Hope all is well.

I checked the weather in Phils area and it has been pretty bad but I don't know if it's any worse than usual for this time of year. I was just thinking that perhaps he lost some power or perhaps his computer gave up and it's not a priority to have it fixed. Does anyone have a contact number for Philip perhaps? I hope he is just really really busy.

It's no worse than usual because I live close to him. I'm guessing his computer packed up. I'll call him tomorrow and find out and post it here.

We can all relax!!

Aw Amelia! Thanks so much! That is so good of you to post here and let us know too!
:o) Relaxing as instructed now! haha x
Oh and I thought that about the weather too.. I know it's really bad but quite usual. I think I read -27 somewhere! Brrrrrrrr

Yes, thanks to Amelia. I too have been wondering and worrying.
I thought 1) really bad weather, snowed under; or 2) no power; or 3) bad back, can't type--since Philip has mentioned his back hurting from time to time.
I should have thought of 4) computer on the fritz. Many of us have been there.
Looking forward to hearing from my Canadian friend soon.
